23 Gauge Galvanized Hardware Cloth with Mesh Size 1/4" x 1/4"
- 1/4 inch hardware cloth, ideal for snake fence, opossum rehab cages, chicken coops run, rabbit fencing, flower beds, wide gutters guard, fruit trees, vegetable garden, to keep out small critters such as voles, gophers, raccoons, etc.
- The holes are only 1/4 inch to keep critters out and the chickens / rabbit safe, protect your garden fruits and vegetables from rodent animals. The 1/4 inch openings would have to be really small to get through. In the area of Wisconsin, Colorado, Cal kings, small baby copperhead snakes and rattle snakes come for damage seasonally. Dig a shallow trench before installing to ensure the fence is partially underground for peace of mind.
- It's galvanized and VERY rust proof. Double zinc coated hardware cloth for maximum rust resistance and long life. Wider weave not too stiff, the material will confirm to rolled shape as tree guards for fruit trees, 23 gauge easy to lay down and easy to cut with wire cutter/scissors. Keep gophers out of vegetable garden.
- Use this to protect vegetables and flower roots, bulbs, rhizomes, etc from tunneling animals. It can be used to make individual baskets or line raised garden beds.
- Use this material to line the bottom of your chain link fence and cut it in half by leaving it in a roll with a hack saw; it is plenty stiff for what you want to use it for. This mesh solved issues with snakes, gophor, skunk, chipmunks, rabbits and other creature pests living under your wooden deck.

36" x 100' 1/4 hardware cloth
I purchased this to surround behind mobile home skirting to keep rodents out of crawl space. It is being installed now and after the first year i should have a better review. Thank you for the timely delivery and quality product.

It did the job as expected
After a lot of research and discussions with my landscaper and rodent experts, I selected this product to line the bed of a new garden I am creating in an effort to exclude gophers and ground squirrels I was warned away from the 1 inch hole size of the chicken wire I had been thinking about because the holes were too big to exclude the gophers and the gauge was too light to last very long. The material was easy to work with, easy to cut, and generally did exactly what I expected. My only question is its durability which I guess that I'll need to wait a few years to determine.

Gopher and Voles, BEWARE!
They can't get their squishy bodies through this stuff and it is saving our orchards! This works perfectly for our needs. Nice to get a huge roll of the stuff.

No more cottontail rabbits chewing on young trees or ornamental plants
We use this as low fencing around our plants here in the Arizona desert. FINALLY! We can now protect plants from the cottontail rabbits without the use of ugly chicken mesh. This holds up VERY well too, when they push against it. We use ours with 3 ft U-posts buried 1 ft deep.

Quality Product for my Issues
I learned a hard way how to keep my chicken safe. Last month an eagle come into the chicken coop. It took the life of one of my 30-day old silkies. I reviewed and researched many solutions. Finally decided to use hardware cloth, which is perfect to prevent predators from reaching chickens.
The nearest hardware store to my home is about 30miles away, and the price is 30% higher than Amazon. Quality was the big concern to purchase it online. After study, Amagabeli was my pick from selections. It is a right call, and we are so happy about the product. Fast delivery and the quality meets my expectation.
It's been 2 weeks since we added the hardware cloth onto our coop. It works pretty well. Now I don’t need to worry my chickens gets attacks during the night. Considering to buy more rolls of wire nets to enhance the fence in backyard. Some squirrels run in and out, and create some damages to the plants. I think this product should fix the issues. -
Better than expected
I live in a place that has rattlesnakes, I bought this hardware cloth to make a snake and vermin barrier on my view fencing. My hoa is very picky about appearances and it worked out amazing. First off, it was easy to work with cuts readily with heavy duty scissors. The cloth itself is well made, it had 1 manufacturing defect in 100 feet that didn't affect the strength or integrity (Just esthetic) for me the most impressive part was how well it blended in when painted to match. The first photo shows that you almost can't see it, the second is (obviously) close up to see the final product.
