Should be fine for more mellow dogs
My dog chewed a hole right through this. She's not a huge dog, but she's persistent, and she's a chewer. A 45 pound lab/border collie mix. So don't expect this contain a motivated dog that chews things. Should be fine for more mellow dogs.
I realize, of course, that this is called "poultry netting", not dog netting, so it's probably my own fault.
On the plus side, it's almost invisible from 20 feet away, especially if it's in the shade and there are shrubs behind it. It blends into foliage incredibly well. -
Fencer wire is a great vendor.
I just want to say the shipping from Fencer was absolutely great -- I had a payment question/issue, and they actually contacted me via email on a weekend, which I wasn't expecting. We bought the coated wire to put on as the roof on an enclosure for our cats, because we'd had plastic bird netting on it for a decade -- we now have three young, strong critters who are curious enough to give even the roof of the enclosure a hard time, so we wanted to go with coated wire instead. Obviously, this is a light duty application -- we got exactly what we ordered, it was shipped with care and the cats are happy, so there's really nothing more to add!

Very nice coop wire
If you have ever used galvanized chicken wire, this review will make sense. This wire appears to be the same gauge and knit as the regular stuff, but the coating makes it look great and actually makes it easier to work with. Time will tell, but the coating us very thick and my guess us it adds to the structural durability of the wire beyond the corrosion fighting aspect.

unlike the shiny metal color that rusts after a while and looks like crap.
I would not buy anything else for my chicken coops. Because it is black, it is almost invisible when looking through it, unlike the shiny metal color that rusts after a while and looks like crap.
