    Good quality hardware cloth!

Posted by RainierRandy on Jun 22nd 2018

This hardware cloth is good quality. I used it to build a chicken coop and it worked great. I also purchased some aviation tin snips to cut the cloth, it wasn't too hard with some gloves to cut it to size.

    Out, out damn voles!

Posted by ragnar on Jun 22nd 2018

Perfect for making a garden cage to prevent deer, birds, and burrowing crittters -voles from destroying plant roots and birds from eating berries before they can be picked for the kitchen. Must bury at least 10 inches of wire mesh vertically in the ground down the sides of the cage OR underlay a properly sized strip of the wire mesh on the ground under plant pots with closed edges all around the perimeter.

    Great buy

I bought this hardware cloth to make gopher proof baskets to protect the roots of the new plants in my garden. It was cheaper to buy on Amazon than any home stores in my town. I would recommend this product.

    Great product great price

    Posted by Mimix5 on Jun 22nd 2018

We use this on our chicken coops. Trying to keep our chickens safe has been a lot of work. But this wire works great. We put this wire over large dog kennels, attaching it with grab pot clamps. This give the best security for the chickens and allows lots of air flow. We have bought this many times and have found it to be very durable. Also this is a great price. If you price this in the store (if you can find this size) it comes in small quantity and is very expensive. I do feel bad for out mail lady though. lol Poor thing we order heavy stuff all the time.

High Quality Product - perfect for chicken coop

Posted by SB on Jun 22nd 2018

Everything about this was a high quality product, including the packaging. It's easy to use (easy to cut with tin sheers) but feels super strong. I used for my coop, where I used a pneumatic nail-gun with galvanized 18 gauge staples. I was impressed that the staples, shot at 80-100psi did not cut through the wire cloth.

Higher quality and less money than what's available at the local hardware store.

This actually keeps things (raccoons, weasels, hawks) out of my chicken coop unlike chicken wire, which I previously found out the hard way is only really designed to keep your chickens in. The most pleasant surprise though has been that this is rigid enough to keep the door to my chicken coop in a perfect square with no diagonal bracing. It's a simple rectangle with 2x4s for the edges and the mesh has kept it from sagging.

Great seller, great price, excellent product, fast shipping. What's not to like???

Posted by Organic Alternative Farmer on Jun 22nd 2018

Great seller, great price, excellent product. What's not to like??? We use a lot of hardware cloth here on our small farm. We have been unable to get the width and length that we needed locally, plus the price for this product is so much better. Shipping was very fast. Great seller and product.

I use it to make wire root baskets to protect against gophers. It works very well and is cheaper than those sold at Home Depot.

Spark Arrestor for an outdoor chimney fireplace

Posted by Teamjj on Jun 22nd 2018

Seems to be just what I need. A buddy of mine suggested hardware cloth placed over your chimney to catch sparks that come flying out. This is important in our drought stricken area so I thought I'd give it a try. Armagabeli sent me an email with tips on how to handle their cloth to avoid injury and this was so very helpful. I've not had the opportunity to put this over my chimney and try a fire yet (its raining, can you believe it???) so I don't know if this will work or not but based on my buddy's recommendation and the fact that I needed something to put a halt to those pesky sparks, I'm thinking this will be just the ticket. Addendum: Put the cloth over my fire pit chimney and it worked like a charm.
