This may not be a 14 gauge wire mesh but I used both kinds and they will protect my trees against deer regardless. Price is definitely competitive. I could not find a 6 foot tall wire mesh locally so i am happy amazon had this mesh. I am not a prime member and i got this super fast.

6 foot wire fencing is not readily available at the big home supply stores. They generally have 4 foot and if you can order 6', the shipping is costly. I use it to protect my young trees from deer-who with a bite and a yank, or a rake with antlers-destroy young seedlings/saplings. I cut the fencing (I recommend bolt cutters as wire cutters are hard on hands) into 36" to 42" tubes that I wire together with nylon zip ties. As you will see in my photo, strips of wood can help bow the circles. I secure my cages to the ground with 4-6 12" lawn staples. These tubes will be on the trees until they outgrow them.

Cut this fencing to go around 2 year old chestnut trees to keep the deer from eating them.Nice ( not to heavy fencing ) to work with.

I used this wire to raise my 4 foot fence to a height of 7 feet to keep my dog from jumping the fence. It has worked. It is funny to watch him looking for a way to jump the fence and he cannot find a gap and it has contained him.

Bought a roll a few years ago it's very strong and it's easy to install on sturdy posts... strongly recommend it....

We have an exercise area for our Pyr at night. It's 40' by 20'. We don't let her roam the 2 acres at night cause of the bears. She was easily able to compress the green 16 G. This 14G is well made and seems almost as strong as the horse corral.. Works very well.

I can only say this is ok, so far. Still too early to comment on its durability. I'll update after the growing season. I think we should've gone with something stronger.Update on 6-30-24. Here in the Chiago area, we've been getting some very strong winds and so far it has held up. Not sure if the posts my husband put in is the reason, but so far so good.

I am a 60 yr old woman who put a fence up alone and this fence is sturdy and easy to put up. I used 6’ fence posts and it looks and works great. My pups won’t be able to get out any longer. Great product.

This is exactly as described. Purchased to put around garden to keep armadillos out. Work well for that but being light gauge don't expect to contain sheep or goats with it ( I have both and this would definitely not work unless bottle babies).

This was perfect for my use. I made cages to support pepper and basil plants in my garden. I didn't have any problems cutting it with wire cutters and it was fairly easy to bend the wire to secure the cages.

I used zip ties to attach this wire to an existing wrought iron fence that was not quite tall enough to keep newly adopted dog in the yard. I also zip tied it to PVC pipe (used as posts) for added stability and so far it has worked perfectly. I bought black 16 gauge for a different part of the fence and while that looks nice, the 14 gauge is a better choice for my purpose due to its obvious strength and stiffness. The end of the roll was tightly wound which made it difficult to work with but I would have bought more if it had been available.

This fence wire was of the right width/mesh size/ length for our keeping deer and other animals out of our garden and berry patch. It worked well as a barrier and allowed us to secure the new garden quickly. We stacked two 4' runs around the garden to achieve an 8' fence). And it was way cheaper than anything I found in my local stores. We are happy with this product!
